Home > Timber Sources
We have two sources of hardwood timber, one is reclaimed and the other is sustainably sourced (new). All of our hardwood solutions can be offered in reclaimed timber and come from Kennedys Timbers, the largest reclaimed hardwood supplier in Australia. Sustainably sourced timber is generally supplied for cladding, decking and jetty / wharf timbers coming with PEFC certification.
As a customer, you have the choice to either select reclaimed or sustainably sourced hardwood products. Please note that all our sustainably sourced material does NOT come from tropical rainforests like Indonesia or the Amazon where unfortunately many hardwoods are still being imported into New Zealand from.

Both procurement methods adhere to stringent protocols governing their sourcing, milling, and subsequent entry into the construction market. Each of our suppliers have been meticulously chosen through site and mill visits. We assess their operational procedures and prioritise those with ethical standards that align with our own values. This includes a commitment to sustainability in timber sourcing and adherence to responsible milling practices.
