We supply non-treated class 1 hardwood (reclaimed and sustainably sourced) hardwood to vineyards around New Zealand, including esteemed clients like Pernod Ricard Winemakers – Church Road. Our hardwood timbers stand as a superior alternative to chemically treated posts, especially favoured by organic and boutique vineyards.
This shift away from CCA treated posts is driven by concerns about soil leaching and the challenges in disposing of old/broken posts, particularly when mechanically harvested. Our non-treated hardwood ensures that at the end of the post/strainers/stays lifecycle, the hardwood can be repurposed or used as firewood without any harmful off-gassing chemicals.

Typical strainer sizes range from 150mm x 150mm to lengths between 2.4m and 2.7m. Posts and stays typically measure 75mm x 75mm and share similar length variations. Custom sizing options are available, including dimensions up to 400mm x 400mm and lengths of up to 11.8m.
