Numerous inquiries revolve around the appearance of our cladding after years of weathering without the application of tinted oil. A significant advantage of our hardwood cladding lies in the fact that there is no obligation to continually oil the timber; our warranty permits it to naturally silver off.
However, if your preference is to retain the original colour, re-coating the cladding with tinted oil is essential. Unlike clear oil, tinted oil contains a UV inhibitor, and it is the tint that provides protection against UV rays for your hardwood cladding, not the oil itself.
