This distinctive and rustic finish authentically reflects the timber's past, showcasing watermarking and fillet marks that can be accentuated with a variety of stains or tints to achieve your preferred look.
The cladding is sawn with mixed pales but does not have an ACQ treatment. This treatment results in a subtle brown surface, making lighter tints less effective. ACQ treatment is applied to provide protection against the Lyctus Beetle, a presence that can be found in New Zealand but is highly unlikely to ever pose an issue for hardwood.
