With a Janka hardness of around 14 kN and natural fire resistance (BAL‑29 rating), it’s among the most durable timbers available. Perfect for high‑traffic decks, commercial builds, or harsh coastal environments—it’s sustainably sourced and factory‑oiled for long‑term performance in New Zealand conditions.

It has a beautiful colour range from pale through to deep red giving it real authenticity.
